What We Do

The site has been running since March 2003 and has grown over the years. What started out as a place to see who we are and what we do has become so much more. It is a place to meet up and chat about banding, a place to leave messages, as well as a place to see our achievements, activities and history.

Our badge bears the Cornish spelling of our home town, which in Cornish is spelt "Heyl". We are a Cornish Band, proud to keep and show our heritage.

The site has had bit of botox and a few new features added recently. The menu to the left now has pull out menus, where the item has this "" symbol, to organise the sites different sections. A 360° image of the interior of our band hall has been added to our About Us page as well as an interactive map pin-pointing our location. There is also a new section, What We Do, that outlines what we can do for you if hired for a job. The information this site provides has also been updated in places to keep things current. There is also the roll of honour at the top of the page listing our most recent titles.

Now as well as the Forum and the Guestbook you can now leave comments on images in the Scrapbook. Simply go to an image in the Scrapbook, click on the View / Leave Comments icon for that entry, and type your comment for the image.

This is a start to another year for Heyl Town Band with plenty of events to look forward to in the coming year.

The first event of this year is coming quick - The Regional Contest at Torquay where were playing 'Kingdom of Dragons' by Philip Harper in the Second Section.

The Heyl Town Band is always available to hire for any kind of event. To hire the band please contact our Band Secretary on (01736) 754804 or email .

Also if you would like to Sponsor the band please contact anyone on our Contacts list.
