Welcome to the Hayle Town Band Website. This website was made to give information to supporters, band members and anyone else that wants to know who we are.

The site has been running since March 2003 and has grown over the years. What started out as a place to see who we are and what we do has become so much more. It is a place to meet up and chat about banding, a place to leave messages, as well as a place to see our achievements, activities and history.

There are now Adjudicators Remarks available for viewing in the Competition Information section and a separate section in the menu to the left that lists all of the Adjudicators Remarks at once. These are THE actual remarks given to us after each contest that have typed up and posted for everyone's viewing. Also now you can view the actual remarks sheet written by the adjudicators (for more details please go to the Adjudicators Remarks section).

Recently we went back to Butlins Skegness for the "2008 Miner workers Open Brass Band National Festival" to defend our title, unfortunatly this year we came 2nd place but a good time was had by all and will look forward to next years contest.

Our badge bears the Cornish spelling of our home town, Hayle, which in Cornish is spelt "Heyl". Since we are a Cornish band, we thought that we would show our true heritage and show that we are proud to be Cornish.

Heyl Band is putting on the Proms at the Manor at Rosewarne Manor, Conner Downs, Hayle on the Sunday 25th May, where £1 from every ticket will be donated to the Precious Lives Appeal (children's hospice).

All the Tickets can be bought before the event though Kay Cook (refer to contacts page).

Here are some details about this event:

Licensed Bar, BBQ & Refreshments Available - Sorry no picnics
Bouncy Castle for the children - small charge
Why not book a table in the bar or restaurant for a pre or post concert meal
Charity Raffle on the day
Although Seats will be available for purchase, please feel free to bring your own
